TX Health Steps Mockup

Making CE Actually Work

Texas Health Steps is a free continuing education platform for medical professionals, helping them meet licensing requirements without the financial hassle. I was brought in to fix the user drop-off problem, and let’s just say: endless clicks and confusing paths didn’t stand a chance. I introduced filtering and sorting tools, color-coded tiles with icons, and applied visual hierarchy to make everything easier to find—and nicer to look at. With rapid prototyping and user testing, I transformed the experience into one that works harder, faster, and smarter.

Design That Feels Human

Not all UX improvements are technical—some are human. I created dedicated pages for each profession, featuring people in those roles to help users feel seen. By pairing this with intuitive filters for tools and resources, I helped turn a clinical site into something a little more personal—and a lot more usable.
